SECURITY AT FIELDWORKS PRO
Your projects, work orders, photos, and customer records live in Fieldworks Pro. Here's how we protect them.
Infrastructure
Both the Fieldworks Pro platform and our website are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) — the largest cloud infrastructure provider in the world. AWS runs the backbone behind companies like Netflix, Airbnb, McDonald's, NASA, and a large share of the Fortune 500. We don't run our own servers out of a back office — your data lives in the same class of secured, monitored data centers that hold theirs.
AWS's own infrastructure carries independent third-party security certifications, including ISO 27001 and SOC reports audited by outside firms — the same standards banks and healthcare companies rely on when choosing where to host sensitive data. Fieldworks Pro inherits the benefit of that certified infrastructure: physical security, environmental controls, and network protections that would be unrealistic for a company our size to build on our own.
Encryption
Data moving between your device and Fieldworks Pro is encrypted in transit using TLS, the same standard used for online banking. This applies whether you're uploading a jobsite photo from your phone or pulling up a work order on a desktop.
Access Controls
Every user in Fieldworks Pro operates under a role with specific permissions — set by your own administrators, not by us. Your team controls who can view, add, edit, or delete information at a granular level, module by module. We don't have a backdoor that bypasses your permission structure, and our own internal access to customer accounts is limited to what's needed for support and maintenance.
Payment Security
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses worldwide and certified to the highest level of card industry security standards (PCI Level 1). Fieldworks Pro never sees or stores your full card number — that information goes directly to Stripe.
Backups and Recovery
Your data is backed up regularly as part of our standard infrastructure practices, so a single hardware failure or outage doesn't mean lost work orders or lost photos.
AI Features
Fieldworks Pro may use AI-powered features to help summarize, organize, or search your project information. We do not use your data to train AI models, and we do not allow our AI service providers to train their models on your data either. Your information is used to power the feature you're using, and nothing else.
Vendor Oversight
We work with a small, deliberate set of vendors — AWS, Stripe, HubSpot, and Google Workspace — each under contractual confidentiality obligations. We don't hand your data to a long chain of unnamed third parties.
